Size Guide
We print on two different garments and they do not share a size chart. Tees run to 3XL; tanks stop at 2XL and are cut closer to the body. Use the section that matches what you are buying.
T-shirts
Every RiverRoosters tee is printed on a Gildan 5000 Heavy Cotton unisex shirt — 5.3 oz 100% cotton, classic relaxed fit, no side seams. It is a true-to-size shirt, not a slim modern cut.
The reliable way to pick a size
Don't measure yourself. Find a t-shirt you already own that fits the way you want this one to fit, lay it flat, and measure it:
- Width — straight across, armpit to armpit.
- Length — from the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the hem.
Match those two numbers to the chart below. That comparison is far more dependable than a body measurement, because it accounts for how you actually like a shirt to sit.

Tank tops
Every RiverRoosters tank is printed on a Bella+Canvas 3480 Unisex Jersey Tank — 4.2 oz combed ring-spun cotton, side-seamed, with a closer retail fit than the tee. It runs S to 2XL. There is no 3XL in this garment.
Two things to know before you pick a size. It is cut slimmer than our tee, so if you wear our tee in a relaxed fit you may want the same number here rather than sizing down. And the armholes are cut deep, the way a tank should be.

Same method as above: measure a tank or a t-shirt you already own that fits the way you want this one to fit, and match the width first. Width is what decides whether a tank sits right.
Between sizes on a tank? Take the larger one. A tank that is tight across the chest is the one that stays in the drawer.
Fit notes — t-shirts
- Between two sizes? Size up — this shirt is cut for a relaxed fit and that is how it is meant to wear on the water.
- Want it closer to the body? Size down one.
- 100% cotton. Wash cold, hang or tumble low, and it will hold its shape and its print.
